At first, Rosalee is mesmerized by the theatrics of Mount Gideon Holy Baptist Church. Drawn there by an advertisement for a "faith healing ceremony," it's one of many pit stops on her way back home from a solo trip across the south. But when she sees a dazed woman wandering into the woods behind the church, she can’t resist the call to follow her there. Rosalie comes to realize her trip to this church was more fate than chance. Something here has been waiting for her.
