In 2024 Afrikana traveled to Dakar, Senegal and had a chance to bring some of the Richmond community with us as we presented two events to the international Arts community.

We were honored to host our 9th Annual Afrikana Film Festival in Senegal as a part of the Dakar Biennale Dak'Art OFF line up and our time there served as inspiration for our newest adventure, OTHER SUNS, that will connect more of Richmond community to our global Black family.
