Good Man !?!
Good Man !?! , is a film about toxic masculinity and the downfalls of internet culture, especially when it comes to black men. The need to be hyper-masculine in a world that seems to always be supervising and critiquing our actions. The short is inspired by social media videos that would go viral and the mass hysteria that followed. The goal of the film is to take a look at the double edge sword of the male ego. The damned if you do, damned if you don’t outcome of these situations. The assertion of manhood is often used for social hierarchy but what happens when we need it for survival? Doing something to protect your ego can be harmful but what happens when you do nothing?
